Intercollegiate Film, Drama, Cultural, and General Knowledge Quiz Competition
The Film, Drama, and Cultural Club of KVM College of Arts and Science successfully conducted an Intercollegiate Film, Drama, Cultural, and General Knowledge Quiz Competition on 5th November 2024 at the Seminar Hall. The programme commenced at 9:15 AM with the opening of an on-site registration counter for students who had previously registered via a Google form. Provision for spot registration was also made to encourage additional participation. The formal inauguration of the programme began at 9:45 AM with a prayer sung by Deena of S3 (B.Sc. Botany & Biotechnology). Akhila Prasad of S5 (B.Sc. Botany & Biotechnology) served as the anchor, delivering a warm welcome to the participants and the esteemed dignitaries present. The ceremony was graced by the Principal of KVM College of Arts and Science, Prof. (Dr.) E. Krishnan Namboothiri, who also formally inaugurated the event. Other dignitaries included Dr. S Nataraja Iyer, Director of KVM Institute of Management; Dr. Manjula Nair, Principal of KVM Public School; and department heads from the college, including Mr. Sinumon T.G. (Commerce), Ms. Lekshmy R. Nair (Botany and Biotechnology), and Ms. Anagha M Nair (Management). Several faculty members and students were also in attendance.
Music and Yoga day
Music and yoga day was conducted in the college. Faculties and students actively and energetically participated in Yoga training programme, Prof (Dr) E.Krishnan Namboothiri was the yoga trainer of the programme.
